A Place that Means ‘Peace’

La Paz awes its visitors with stunning sunsets and one of the finest waterfronts in all of Mexico. By the middle of the 20th century, sportsman and tourists slowly began discovering the area, and La Paz evolved from a sleepy port into a modern state capitol. Despite its modernization, La Paz maintains a thoroughly Mexican atmosphere. Old-fashioned charm is prevalent; residents are warm and friendly, carry themselves with pride, and on Sunday evenings couples and families can be found strolling along the waterside malecón.
